This class focuses on the safety of your newborn. Potential home hazards and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome will be discussed, in addition to an opportunity to learn and practice CPR techniques that could potentially save a life. This class is free and is held on the 4th Thursday of the month, except in November & December, when it is held on the 3rd Thursday. Come and explore the various medication options for labor when breathing is not enough. Discussion will include oral, intravenous and anesthesia options. An anesthesiologist will join us to answer questions about epidurals and intrathecals. This class is held the 4th Monday of every month. We do recommend that you attend the "Am I in Labor? What to Expect" class prior to attending this class. The May class will be Tuesday, the 28th, because of the holiday.
